Does anyone here take lamotrigine and not have bipolar disorder?

I went to a facility today for a consultation and evaluation. They prescribed me lamotrigine. I looked it up when I got home and I see that it's for bipolar disorder. I do not believe I am bipolar. I don't have any highs at all. I'm just curious if anyone else takes this for depression only.

I cannot fucking take this anymore

Started July 1 on 75mg, started September 1 on 112.5 for anxiety, depression, OCD. 4th antidepressant I’ve been on because I get extreme fatigue from them. How the fuck do I deal with this fucking fatigue? Why won’t it just fucking go away? I just slept so good last night, 8.5 hours. And the second I open my eyes, I’m still exhausted.

I've done this when drinking also, not with celexa, but an anxiety med. And it scared me too. It wasn't a lot, just one extra. But still. Call the nurses station at your local emergency department or the poison control hot line. If you start feeling "something is definitely wrong" get to a hospital.asap.

hi there.. i was on 20mg of Citalopram for 7 weeks and i didn't feel they were working so well.. so my doc has put me on 40mg - been on 40mg for a week..

Normally it takes about 2 weeks for an increased dose to become effective. I had my Celexa upped in the past and some other medication, and it roughly took me 2 weeks for an increase to kick in.

hi all , just a quick update.. its now 3 weeks on 40mgs ( 7 weeks on 20mg & 3 weeks on 40mg 10 weeks altogether) there still don't seem to be a lot happening... i have a bit less anxiety than before i started on them.. but can't seem to feel the happiness i thought i would :verysad3: suppose il just have to hang in there a bit longer...
