The Brandy Creek Falls Trail remains closed due to post-Carr Fire environmental hazards and safety concerns.

Northern California's beloved Whiskeytown National Recreation Area, home of beautiful waterfalls, stunning beaches and a crystal clear lake, is closing for the remainder of the summer due to the extensive damage cause by the Carrr Fire.

Pets are not allowed in the visitor center, Camden House or on the swim beaches, adjacent picnic areas and grounds or within the swim area buoys at Oak Bottom, Brandy Creek and East Beach. Pets are not allowed in the Whiskey Creek Group Picnic Area, beach or the lake within the swim buoys.
