In the present study, qualitative phytochemical screening of C. gigantea extract confirmed the existence of alkaloids, glycosides, flavonoids, tannins, and terpenoids and the absence of the rest of the tested phytochemical groups.
4. Discussion
At the present time, phytotherapy, based on scientific evidence, is fetching an influential fallback pathway to perceive plausible natural phytochemicals devoid of any antagonistic effects.

The present study has disclosed that the edible herb C. gigantea extract owns significant anti-inflammatory and analgesic activities.
