Saw a post on r/nextfuckinglevel of some floating stairs. A debate in the comments obviously ensued over whether the floating stairs trend is safe. Now obviously, for the most part they are, as build codes tend to maintain standards to prevent death and injury.
I made a map of my circuits
My panel is completely unmarked except for the new dishwasher that was installed, and an illegal generator hookup that got repurposed to the dryer. I figured I'd go through and label the breakers. I needed to swap out some outlets\switches and put a few GFCIs in, so I needed to know which breakers to flip.
My very active sump pump drains to the street and freezes in the road. My town does not allow sump pumps to be drained into the sanitary sewer. There is too much water to drain directly on my property. What can I do here?
As the titles says I have an active sump pump that drains a ton of water when it’s wet out. It probably runs once every 30 minutes on average. Currently it drains to the sidewalk and then goes to the street where it just sits and freezes. It’s a hazard to cars and pedestrians walking by and can damage the road as well.
