A mechanic once advised me to run 2 tanks of premium, name brand fuel, back to back, once a year. He explained that that the premium gas contains cleaning additives that would help my engine to run its best. Is that no longer true? I know that all fuels come out of the same reserve, and the only difference between them is the additives.
