Is ODU a good college?
ODU is a hit and miss place. You'll have an armed robbery nearby too often, but compared to other colleges it's a lot cleaner in general. Seriously, their cleanliness of the common areas are great. Some professors are amazing, but just as many are absolutely awful. If you do your homework and/or just be respectful of your teacher in your undergrad, you'll get an A in most undergrad classes. Not all departments are equal, so I'd look into other peoples specific experiences with them. This school utilizes ProctorU for online class exams in some classes, and I would recommend avoiding those unless you're okay with a random individual having complete control over your computer while you take a test. ODU does have plenty of student organizations if that's something you're interested in. I grabbed a job paying me 72k a year post grad, but I know that's rare. It's doable. Just don't pick a generic common degree like Computer Science or Nursing and you'll be able to make an income.
