Attendance, assure all are working the proper jobs, continuing to work on team culture to assure all are a team and not individuals. My knowledge is vast. I started as an operator and worked my way to salary manager in my 34 years. I take pride in my years at pratt and whitney.

Some get to come in and go through ranks quickly. While rest of us is through the good ole boys system. Doesn't matter if you out perform and produce more parts, you are valued by years of service.

You are left on your own to figure out a lot of tasks which is good
However, I find that often times management has been promoted through years of service. Not expertise. They are also very stuck in old ways as a whole. The processes they use we created in the 60s and they plan to keep it that way.

Work term placement with the plant's maintenance department. The team provided a lot of great experiences and education on various control systems. Great culture within the team as well.

A typical day at work is a usual 7-8 hour day, but I enjoy it very much. I have learned dealing with a different environment than school and working part of the industry. The management is quite organized.
