It stained with red wine in less than ten minutes and also stains very quickly with tomato sauce. So far all stains have been removed, but it takes 2-4 days to remove the stain. This after we hsd it sealed wi the dealers best 15 year sealer. We have had this countertop 1 month and have already started a kitty to replace it. It scratches easily with metal or glass. Very pretty, but useless in the kitchen.
