Is CityWalk free?
OK, here is the deal. CityWalk is "free" to walk around, eat in the restaurants, shop. And, you have to walk through CityWalk to get to either of the theme parks. After 9 or 10 pm at night, some of the venues have a $7 cover charge. Alternately, for $11.99 you can buy a CityWalk Party Pass which will take care of the cover charge for all of the venues that charge it so you can go in and out as you wish for the night. Or, some of the park tickets include free access (ie. no cover charge). This is applicable at Rising Star, Red Coconut Club, Margaritaville, Bob Marley, the groove, Latin Quarter, and Pat O'Brien's. There is never a cover at Hard Rock or the other restaurants not listed above, and, if you are eating at one of the restaurants listed such as Margaritaville during normal dinner time (before the charge goes into effect late at night) it is not applicable. Unless, you are there late night to drink, dance, whatever, you are not going to run into fees for CityWalk other than what you are buying or eating.
