What is the difference between vinegar and urnex?
While vinegar is an effective descaler, it is difficult to rinse, takes longer to be effective and leaves behind an unpleasant odor and aftertaste that can affect future brews. Urnex descalers are formulated specifically for this function, rinse quickly and thoroughly and are odorless.

What happens if you ingest Urnex?

Can I run Urnex through my coffee maker?

What is Urnex used for?

Should you run vinegar through a new coffee maker?
Vinegar is an effective natural solution for cleaning a coffee maker. This solution removes calcium deposits and coffee bean oil residue from the interior of the device as well as add acidity to the hot water to disinfect. Turn the coffee maker to the brew cycle and allow the cycle to brew halfway.
Is grindz toxic?
When ground by your coffee grinder, Grindz gently dislodges coffee particles while also absorbing coffee oils and residues. Note that Grindz is not a chemical. All ingredients in a Grindz tablet are safe and edible (not that you would particularly enjoy them).
Is Cafiza safe for plastic?
Let the Cafiza and water sit for 15 minutes and rinse thoroughly. One side note, don't use Cafiza with anything plastic, because it will break down the outer layer of the plastic and begin to pick up the flavor of the Cafiza. So only use this solution with glass, metal, or ceramic gear.
Can I run Cafiza through my coffee maker?
Pour 1/2 teaspoon (3g) of Cafiza® powder on 2l of water - directly into the water tank. Start the coffee machine, wait until the liquid enters each container of the coffee machine and stop the coffee machine for 30 minutes. Remove all containers and rinse with clean hot water.
