How can I get into West Point Military Academy?

They vary from one academy to another, but generally you:

  • Must be between 17 and 22 to 25 years old (depending on the academy) on July 1 of the year you enter the academy;
  • Must be a U.S. citizen (unless you're a selected international cadet/midshipman);
  • Can't be married;
  • Can't be pregnant;
  • Can't have any dependents; and
  • Must be of good moral character.
