Prednisolone 0.12% (Pred Mild®) eye drops is used to treat mild to moderate non-infectious eye allergies and inflammation, including damage caused by chemical and thermal burns.

Indicaciones
Tto. de enf. inflamatorias y autoinmunes en ads. y niños ≥ 1 mes: asma bronquial, alteraciones alérgicas e inflamatorias, artritis reumatoide y otras colagenopatías, dermatitis y dermatosis (eczema subagudo y crónico, psoriasis, pénfigo, etc.).

Precauciones y Advertencias
Precaución en: I.R., I.H., ancianos con tto. prolongado, diabetes (monitorizar y ajustar dosis), HTA e insuf. cardiaca (monitorizar), pacientes hipotiroideos o en cirrosis hepática (monitorizar y reducir dosis); no suspender bruscamente el tto. y considerar retirada gradual en caso de: dosis > 7,5 mg/día + de 3 sem, ciclos repetidos de tto.
Reacciones Adversas
Distribución anormal de grasas (obesidad troncal, cara de luna llena, acumulación reversible de tejido graso en el canal epidural o en cavidad torácica epicárdica o mediastínica), aumento en los niveles de glucemia; retención de sodio y acumulación de agua en los tejidos, aumento de la excreción de potasio, hipocalemia, congestión pulmonar en pacientes con insuf.
Indicaciones
Tratamiento de enfermedades alérgicas e inflamatorias de la conjuntiva, de la córnea y del segmento anterior ojo, que responden a los corticoesteroides.
Contraindicaciones
Hipersensibilidad a los componentes de la fórmula. Enfermedades virales (herpes simple, varicela), micobacterias, hongos y afecciones de origen bacteriano. Pacientes con cataratas, glaucoma de ángulo abierto crónico. Niños menores de 2 años.
