I don't have a counter height table, but at work they have this atrium with chairs and tables where you have seating choices (with the tables to match) -- regular seating height (more or less), countertop seating height, and a very low sofa thingie. Here’s where the trouble really starts. This is always where I see the biggest conflict between seat height and the height of the table or bar.
