Units 7, 8, & 9 (1900-Present)

Both World War I and World War II saw dramatic increases in fatalities of both soldiers and civilians because of advances in military technology and tactics. Machine Guns, Tactical Firebombing, Atomic Weaponry all increased the number of casualties in war, as well as the ratio of casualties that were civilian v actual military.
