PROBLEM: Tried to REATTACH the connector to the TPS but the green tab is pushed all the way in and the plug doesn't latch onto the TPS portion of the connection.

OK , looked it up on link above and it's the notorious "new for 2000 and later models" grey body connector with the green slide tab.

I broke the only one i ever needed to remove on the driver side camshaft position sensor. It is electrical taped and wire tied in place. The worst design i've ever run into for a connector.

Resolved, thanks to all. I shot silicnne lube into the slide tab area and blew it out with air, shoved the whole plug onto the terminal all the way - nothing still.
