The following is a list of late-start classes. These classes are shorter-term classes that begin after the first week of the semester. Some of these classes are asynchronous and do not have scheduled meetings. Others are synchronous and have regularly scheduled meetings via videoconferencing.
How long are late start classes?
Late start courses typically start a couple of weeks after the beginning of each semester and are eight to ten weeks in length. To enroll in late start courses, apply online and select the semester you intend to enroll.
How to qualify for financial aid for late start courses?
To qualify for financial aid for late start courses, you need to be accepted into a degree or diploma program at NICC, have completed the FAFSA and have your financial aid file complete. If you have questions regarding your tuition bill or payment plan, please contact the Finance Office.
What to do if you are not seeking a degree from NICC?
If you are not seeking a degree from NICC and are not planning to receive financial aid for the late start courses, choose "Not seeking a degree“ as your program of study. If you wish to receive financial aid for courses, choose "Associate of Arts" as your program of study.
