Descent job

People complain all the time about how horrible Amazon is. Well unless you've had a few jobs before amazon then don't make Amazon your first job. It is for hardworking people. I love that I can take PTO anytime. Every 4 hours is 15mins of PTO. I love the four shifts, I'm so used to them that I never want to work an eight hour shift again.

Stressful

Awful managers and supervisors, very fast paced work, on feet for full 10 hour shifts, repetitive tasks, no opportunity for progression of change.

To sort of break, break rooms to far away from work sit. Good benefits, great working hours

Sorter (Former Employee) - I enjoyed working at Avenel, Edson, Carteret Part time. - February 10, 2022

Monotonous work, long hours

Standing on your feet all day is the most difficult part of the job. The pay was good, but not worth the physical pain.

Physically challenging

Physically demanding , great benefits, 401k retirement, paid time and unpaid time off ,vacation, medical benefits, time really flies you sweat the whole shift ,you can cancel your gym membership this place has it beat ! Management is very young! Disability accommodations are excellent, they value veterans, plan on working hard !!

Gives you a early morning stretch

Was overly crowded during covid. Managers were rude about pay discussion. There were fights that went on and people that would talk about people and bring them down.

The flexibility

I work sortation center which is part time only.. Love the short hours and the people.. sits always a spot open if one department doesn’t workout. Great place
