Quality has gone down
I used to get months out of one pad but now I'm lucky to get two weeks. The mesh is horrible and I'm scrubbing with a flimsy sponge. What happened?
Way to mess up a good product!
I have been using Dobie pads for decades as did my mother before me. In the past 6-12 months, I have noticed a huge decline in quality. They start falling apart after a short period of time so something has changed with its construction. I'll be exploring generic brands from now on - at least when they fall apart I will have saved some money.

Was a really great product...until now
I have been using Dobies exclusively for years. I love them! I hand wash all my dishes and Dobies have always lasted several weeks... until right now. The last box I bought got holes in them immediately. I purchased another box because I figured I had just gotten a bad batch. The picture below is a pad that I opened last night.
Where is the Dobie Pad you USED TO make?
I must agree with many recent reviews. My family has used Dobie Pads for more than 50 years. Until some time recently, the pads lasted many weeks. Now I find that most pads develop holes in the mesh on the first use of the pad.
Not holding up like they used to!!
I have been purchasing Dobies for many many years. They now start tearing up almost immediately. Also having problems finding them in the stores.
