A Baffle (sometimes called a Dryer Baffles or lifters), are located on the inner surface of the drum. Baffles are used to tumble the clothes in your dryer. If your clothes are not drying, it could mean your dryer drum baffle is cracked causing it to not agitate properly.

The baffles are the sets of “fins” inside your dryer drum, there are usually three or four of them spaced around the interior.
