Pick the model of fridge / freezer that you want, and don't worry about how the hinges work. Some manufacturers mount the doors direct to the appliance and some are just meant to slot in with their respective doors mounted onto the carcass as usual. In both cases, if the appliances and doors are fitted correctly, you should have years of trouble free use..

I'm also about to replace an integrated fridge that has a slider system - I would like to replace it with a door on door system (gives me more choice of appliances) The problem I have the kitchen is a handless door design and the doors are obviously wider. Would I still be able to fit a door on door appliance. Your help much appreciated

You should be able to do this OK, the main thing to be aware of is not to put any screw near the handle part of the door where it is thinner, otherwise you will puncture the outside of it.
