CnC is completely correct, a cavitating morulae is 'on its way' to become a blastocyst. In order for an embryo to become a blastocyst the ball of cells needs to acquire a fluid-filled center. The cavitation is the beginning of this happening. Embryos can move very quickly from cavitating morula to blastocyst.

Well, it turns out it was likely an SCH which caused the bleeding, and my wife is now 21 weeks pregnant, which so far has been going well :) It feels like a lifetime ago that we were in the depths of depression, but actually it was only a few months back. Infertility can be such a rollercoaster.
