Is a 65% pass on NCLEX good?
I was told by my in class Kaplan instructor that a score of 57-62% is good, and that a 65% reflects a 95% pass ratio on NCLEX. I haven't taken boards yet, and I keep scoring in that range on the q-bank and question trainers so we will see how it all goes. Good luck!
Can you pass the Kaplan test at 58?
So you guys out there who are stressing because your only getting 58's on the Kaplan. I have absolutely no doubt you will pass! Be confident going in to the test room, eat TONS of sugar to keep your mind alert ( Lifesavers are excellent unless of course your a diabetic)!!! 🙂 and sugar ingested just before a long test has been proven to enhance test taking, don't even crack a book the day before-- have a relaxing day and have fun!!!
I PASSED THE NCLEX! STUDIED FOR 3 WEEKS!

So I passed my NCLEX on the third try. I am going to share my experience and what I did all three times.

I've been stalking this subreddit every since I graduated nursing school a few months ago, and here I am finally on the other side! Still waiting for the official/unofficial results and RN license to post on the CA BON, but I did the PVT trick an hour after my exam and got the good pop-up! I mainly used UWorld (finished with 68% correct with 90% completed) and Mark Klimek lectures.
Took my NCLEX today..
So I took the NCLEX this morning and I thought it was really hard...I took the PN last year and it was totally different and way easier. Anyway I studied for a month and did all the Uworld questions with a 56% score in my Ubank. I felt like nothing prepared me for this exam. I was kinda dumb founded and didn't feel confident in my answers.

Honestly, I can't believe I am actually writing this!!! This thread has been so helpful to me over the past few months and hopefully, I can tell you all my experience and what worked/didn't work.
What is the first time pass rate for nclex?
First Time NCLEX Pass Rates. According to the NCSBN, the national first time NCLEX-RN pass rate for US educated nurses in 2020 was 86.5% and the PN pass rate for the same period of time was 83%. The quarterly NCLEX pass rates can be found here.
How long does it take to pass the NCLEX?
In order to pass, it’s not all about the number of questions you see; you’ll also be working within a time constraint. You will have 5 hours to finish the NCLEX (both RN & PN), which translates to an average of 2 minutes and 5 seconds to complete each question if you end up going all the way to question 145.

How does the test end?

Is it important to focus on the NCLEX questions?
As you are testing, remember that each NCLEX question is as important as the next. Sometimes test-takers try to self-evaluate and guess how they are doing as they go along, but NCLEX doesn’t work that way. It is best to simply focus on the questions at hand.
Can you skip questions on a nurse test?
You will not be able to skip questions. Your job as a test-taker is to answer questions correctly and work your way up in difficulty to establish that your level of competency is high enough to demonstrate that you will be a safe and effective nurse.

Is the ATI harder than the NCLEX?
I have heard over and over that the ATI is harder than the NCLEX. Our Exit exam consists of a comprehensive ATI that you must pass to graduate. We are also offered the ATI NCLEX Review after we graduate and they (ATI) are committed to you until you pass, which is why I was thinking of doing ATI, Saunders and Kaplan Strategies Practice NCLEX book. I am hoping this will be enough for me to pass. Kaplan is costing us $400 with a student discount, money I can use towards paying for the NCLEX exam, instead.
