The food is pretty good, and you can buy snacks in the shop. There are also a lot of places to get smoothies, coffee, etc. . Camp Woodward is such an amazing, fun place, but you need to have a responsible kid. Staff lets kids try things they clearly are not capable of and there is little supervision.

I went to camp woodward last year and I'm going again this June. The camp is paradise for anyone who likes to skate or bmx or inline or tumble or cheer etc. Despite the cost, It was well worth it. Not the best place for children who need constant supervision and cant be trusted or cant function on their own for most of the day. The camp is set up where kids learn responsiblilty for their actions. If you decide to keep riding instead of going to lunch, you go hungry till dinner. People are supervising but not keeping them on a short leash. If you dont trust your child to be on his own dont send them, but otherwise I highly recomend this camp. But let me say this just one last time: CAMP WOODWARD IS NOT FOR EVERYBODY.

Woodward PA is an incredible facility. It is state-of-art for extreme sports. But don’t send a child there alone for camp. It’s fine if they are going with a group for cheerleading/gymnastics camp ect but otherwise there is absolutely no supervision of any kind. The dorms, the bathrooms and cafeteria are filthy. I don’t think they had been cleaned all summer. My 13yr old son was crammed into a cabin with 16 bunks and a one 19 yr old “supervisor” who looked like he hadn’t slept in a week. Parents beware: No one will look after your kid. And for $1400 a week Woodward could improve there customer service.
