I'm trying to decide already what to use next year for dd. We have been using CLE LA . She used abeka in prek/k and always talks about how much she liked it. we're currently doing CLE 200 LA and she finds it a bit boring since there is no color in it.

wow, I never used cle but what I have heard is good things from them. I also have heard they are like life paks. My kids would have done life paks forever had they not known of the other things out there.

Y'know, TM, I've found that it's not so much the Abeka curriculum that's "pushy", as it is the SCHOOLS! Those that buy into the Abeka Method as well as the curriculum, I mean. The ones that insist you do all the busywork that's provided, and keep to the assignment schedule as published by Abeka, and all that.

Lindina thank yoU! I am so glad to hear this because I am thinking of if we stay homeschooling after next year ( ds is questioning if he wants to go out to private for a year then or not, but wants to keep homeschooking option open to my joy! I like when he is thinking like reality has it! haha!)

Thanks for the feedback. Still not sure if abeka is worth it to switch. Im thinking I will get the language 3 workbook just to let her try it out and see if we will like the style. The workbook by itself isn't that much.
