How does a convection heater work?
This is one of the most important concepts in convection heating. As heated air rises and displaces room-temperature air, the cooler air comes into contact with the convection heater and consequently gets heated up as well. The process then repeats itself: hot air rises, room-temperature air gets displaced near the device, and so on.
What are the different types of convection heaters?
Convection heaters come in electric and combustion models. Electric models use electricity as the heat source, while combustion models use gas, propane, or any other type of fuel. Some models also incorporate thermal mass, such as oil heaters and night storage heaters.

To turn the heater ON : Place the sliding ''ON / OFF'' switch located on the right of the heater at ''1'' (F). Do convector heaters use a lot of electricity?
Typically, convection heaters are around 2000W in power output which does make them more expensive to run. On top of this, you might tend to leave a convection heater on for longer periods of time too (compared to radiant heaters).
Which is cheaper to run fan or convector heater?

The manual “Reset” button (installed on some devices only) is located on the back of the device, under a protective metal cap (see image below). Press the button to restart your device. If there is no manual “Reset” button, this means that your Convectair unit is equipped with an automatic system.
