Minority librarians need to learn to communicate like their Anglo-Saxon cohorts and the latter should be aware of the reasons for the differences in communication from their minority cohorts. Asking questions to clarify what was communicated and how it was interpreted by all involved will help with effective communication and prevent misunderstandings on both sides.
