You formula will not work as it is not in the format that SUMPRODUCT can accept. If you really want to do this the long way... =SUM (A1*B1+A2*B2+A3*B3+A4*B4+A5*B5+A6*B6+A7*B7)/SUM (B1:B7) - but with added terms to get you to the bottom of the column. It is much easier to use SUMPRODUCT as I suggested!
