The Micro's extra weight keeps the velocity subsonic, which is easier on the ears. The heavier weight allow for better penetration. I think this would be a perfect round for the Sig, and one of the best for the Springfield. You just can't go wrong with the HST.

NOTICEABLE reduction in muzzle flip and noise
I used this in a trial against 115Gr and 147Gr HST rounds. I didn't think the extra 3 grains of weight at 150 would make that big of a difference, but the round is easier to shoot, faster shot recovery, quieter... really there is nothing NOT to like other than the price.

The points of the "star" extend out farther than—but don't increase surface area as much as—the rounded edges of a typical expanded bullet. In essence, the expanded HST bullet cuts a larger hole but still penetrates deep due to its starfish-like shape and high weight retention.
