Final Thoughts on the Ooma Telo VOIP

I think the Ooma is great for anyone in one of the following three situations:

Good Company

They let me work remotely and gave me the needed tools to succeed. My day would start at 8:30am and end at 5pm. The hardest part of the job was dealing with management.

Great place to work!

While the company is very established, they have a startup-like culture. Management is very transparent with a true open door policy. I really enjoyed the experience I had working with Ooma.

Awesome workplace that made me feel welcome

I interned at Ooma for 7 months - much longer than most internships and I had an amazing time. My team was fully supportive and not only treated me as an equal, but also taught me so many things. My manager was also extremely understanding (even when I messed up) and supportive.

Just OK, barely

Revolving door. Extreme Micromanagement. Clicky management that plays favorites. The product/service itself is ok. Disorganized. Strange pay structure. Overall a poor place to work.

Not much training, too much work. Money was ok, Long working hours

Too much work, not supportive immediate management. Money is ok. I didn't have much enjoyment because I was working from home. Working 12hrs a day was hardest part

Great company to work for, tough sale

Who is a great company to work for. There's a lot of support and you can make a lot of money. The problem in a small Market like Reno Sparks is finding customers who need what you have to offer. If you are great at referrals and are in love with telephone technology there's no better company to work for.

Fish out of water..

Was sold on product and company. Reality is the product is a dime a dozen. Company has no process or structure. Little to no marketing or sales support, and zero direction. Might was well be on your own...
