In this way, the Dutton and Dukerich definition is more like Cable and Turban’s definition of reputation. A review in Lange, et al. 2011provides a more complex definition of reputation that includes the dimensions of being known, being known for something, and generalized reputation. Finally, a more recent paper, Theurer, et al. 2018reviews literature on a number of variables related to employer brand, a concept closely related to image and reputation.
