I never knew how much I love light roasts
I always thought I like strong dark roasts. I used to use a lot of coffee to water in a french press (I guess it was forgiving)
Why does Italians drink such a small dose (7 gram espresso)?
I really want to know why. It seems that the double (14~15 gram shot) is the standard nowadays. Is there a reason? I genuinely want to know. Please teach me some knowledges behind it.

From time to time, place to place, I've been reading so many people say that they have "upgraded" their coffee gear. For example, from a cheap grinder to a more expensive/star grinder, from a hand grinder to a electric grinder, from a kettle to another kettle ... etc.
