Do you have priority on Allegiant?
I fly Allegiant all the time and do not buy priority board ing because we do buy seat selection. The planes usually have 2 seats on the left side and 3 on the right side. My wife and I like our privacy so we buy seats on the left side. If you have assigned seats, if you are on time, you would be wasting your money buying priority. The only thing with not buying priority or assigned seats is if you only take a carry on. Many times, the overhead bins fill up with luggage so if you do open seating, you will be last on the plane and may not be able to find an overhead anywhere near your seat. Not too big a problem unless you are uncomfortable with that.
