A well-prepared seedbed is critical for establishing tall fescue turf in Corona, CA. Prepare the soil by tilling 3 to 4 inches. Apply fertilizer at the recommended package rates. Distribute the seed by spreading into the soil, 6-8 lbs. seed per 1,000 square feet. Germination and survival of seedlings improves with proper watering.
