They used to offer a discount on Tuesdays, I'm assuming because that was their slow day. No longer is this discount available, but I'd say go as early in the day as you can and plan 3 hours inside and 3 outside.

What is timed ticketing? Timed ticketing offers reserved times to enjoy our displays and exhibits. With a timed ticket, a pre-established number of guests enter during each interval, allowing guests to enjoy shorter lines and a better viewing experience. Timed tickets are required for admission.

Absolutely beautiful botanical gardens with miles of walking paths, many with shade, many with sun. There are 2 pools of water with shows, each about 5 minutes, with music synchronized to the jets of water, similar in nature to the Bellagio in Las Vegas. There are flowers everywhere, that both look and smell beautiful. They follow CDC guidelines, no masks if you are vaccinated, and no test; they trust you.

It was sold out, but they do a pretty good job controlling the flow of people through the buildings (for the current covid concerns). Do the conservatory building in daylight and then later after dark. It is really different with the lighting. Pretty in both settings.
