Can you take the NES online?
The Evaluation Systems group of Pearson is pleased to announce the availability of online proctoring for select assessments in the NES program. Online proctoring allows you to take your test securely from your home, school, or business.
How long does it take to get NES scores?
Test results are provided at the test site; score reports are released within 2 weeks after testing. Score reports are released within 4 weeks after testing.
How long does the West B take?
The West B exams: Reading (2 hours), Writing (3 hours), Math (2 hours), if taken separately. We recommend that students take the Writing exam on its own and not combined with another subject. If all subjects are taken at one time, the total exam time is 5 hours and 15 minutes for all subjects combined.
Is a calculator allowed on the West B?
This section is composed of 60 multiple-choice questions. If you take this section without the other two sections, the time limit for the exam will be 2 hours. Personal calculators are prohibited and cannot be brought into your test. However, calculators will be provided for you during your test.
How many questions can you get wrong on TExES exam?
Scores of 240 or higher meet the standard needed to pass TExES, and score reports reflect a total test performance status of “Passed.” There is no penalty for incorrect answers, so it is better to guess than to leave answers blank. Answer every question, but make sure to keep track of time as you go.
