A 3.5-liter V-6 with 295 horsepower and a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) come standard on the QX60, which was good for a 7.1-second zero-to-60-mph run in our test of a 2017 QX60 with all-wheel drive. We found the engine to be perky and quick to get up to speed on the highway, and fully capable of passing when cruising along. However, it wasn't particularly refined, which gives the Infiniti a decidedly unluxurious feel. The QX60 is a big, comfortable vehicle that wallows in turns and doesn't exude any athleticism, but it does succeed in absorbing bumps in the road and remains quiet all the while. In terms of handling, we found the steering to be artificially heavy and slow to respond to our inputs.
Which is better, the Audi Q7 or the Acura MDX?
Both the limited and powertrain warranty for the QX60 are better than competitors. The Audi Q7 offers less coverage for both warranties (but does offer complimentary scheduled maintenance), and the Acura MDX offers less limited warranty coverage.
