I have a flight this Thurs., (Not for a cruise) but I have a layover of one hour at BWI. If my first flight is ontime, is a one hour time frame enough in this airport.??? Looks like I might have to go from terminal A to B. Southwest occupies both according to the airport map.

We've connected through BWI a few times and only once had a rush getting to our gate. That was because our first flight was late departing. You should be fine with 1 hour.

In addition to a very acceptable 1 hour connect time at BWI, there is a nice little food court between concourses A and B with very good places to sit and view the surroundings.

One tip on those food court/restaurants. We learned this the hard way and almost missed our connecting flight. We arrived at BWI with over an hour til our connecting flight so DH and I found a decent restaurant for lunch. We had lots of time so I wasn't worried.

Twenty minutes or so before our flight was scheduled to depart, we wandered leisurely to our gate only to find they were on a final boarding call. Yikes!

No problems there, won't get anything to eat as we will probably before we leave for Baltimore. We'll head straight to the gate. Don't want to miss the flight....going to see the grandkids!!:D
