How much does it cost to tour the parade of homes?
Thanks for touring the Parade of Homes and Remodelers Showcase home tours across the Twin Cities! Touring is always free, except for a handful of homes that are selected by the Housing First Minnesota Foundation as their Dream Homes, with a $5 entry admission required.
Can I View Parade homes on-line?
Visitors have option to view Parade homes on-line through virtual tours beginning few days after start of event. Be respectful of hosts and adhere to their requests. Southern Utah Home Builders Association has the right to close any Parade home at any time due to issues related to pandemic or other circumstances.
Do I have to comply with parade regulations?
Due to the unusual nature of the originality of each home you agree to comply with all specific, additional regulations and requirements imposed by the Builder or host when visiting any Parade home. You voluntarily assume all risks and danger incidental to the Parade of Homes.
What is the purpose of a parade ticket?
The ticket grants to you a license to enter Parade homes at the times set forth herein. You acknowledge and agree that under some circumstances, including but not limited to, incomplete construction of the home, safety issues, etc., entry to a home may be denied. You agree to be respectful of all personal property of each Parade Builder.

How many days does a ticket for the Parade of Homes last?
Ticket entitles visitor admittance to each of the homes once during the 10-day event. The ticket has an additional benefit allowing two repeat admittances to two of your favorite Parade homes. Visitors must purchase a new ticket if re-entry exceeds more than two homes.

Will tickets be sold at the homes in 2022?
NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE HOMES. When you purchase a ticket online, a map with home addresses will be emailed to you on Thursday, February 17, 2022. We do not release the map or addresses earlier because the contractors are working hard to finish the homes.
What is the Parade of Homes?
The Parade of Homes is central Oklahoma's favorite metro-wide open house event. For two weekends in late April, visitors are welcome to visit a variety of new homes in developing neighborhoods from Edmond to Moore, Yukon to Midwest City, and everywhere in between. The Parade of Homes OK is hosted by the Central Oklahoma Home Builders Association.

Housing First Minnesota will promote all events in the magazine and online. How many layout options are there in Parade of Homes?
Builders can choose from two layout options, one including three photos and the other including one photo. The description length will change depending on which layout option you choose.
How long should a home description be?
Description: Your home’s description can be up to approximately 770 total characters in length with Option A (one photo), with the Ready To Build listing, and with the Coming Soon listing, or approximately 330 total characters in length with Option B (three photos). You can describe the features of your home and neighborhood (but not who should live there). Include information about your company, lifestyle benefits, etc. Please do not include names of any other firms (architects, interior designers, etc.) unless they are members of Housing First Minnesota. And we recommend that you do not include names of real estate agent (s) who represent you due to the long lead-time and shelf-life of the publication. Your copy may be edited as per Housing First Minnesota editorial style and character limit.
When did the Parade of Homes come out in Minnesota?
Housing First Minnesota has presented the Parade of Homes℠ to the region since 1949 and the Remodelers Showcase ® since 1984. These popular and free home tour events showcase the variety and opportunities available in new homes and remodeling for families across the extended metro region. Does Dream Homes have editorials?
Dream Homes will also receive a half-page editorial feature with home photo or illustration (provided by the builder) in the guidebook. If selected, the home description will be pulled directly from your entry form submission details.
Who selects the dream homes in Minnesota?
Selection of the Dream Homes will be at the sole discretion of the Housing First Minnesota Foundation committee (price/location/size/style/parking opportunities, etc. will be considered).
When is the LABA home show in 2022?

How many homes are there in a virtual tour?
The virtual tours will go live after the in-person tour and will feature two additional homes – nine homes in total showcased in a virtual self-guided tour.
Do you need shoes for Parade of Homes?
Shoe coverings or socks are required inside each home. You can pick up a pair of shoe coverings at the first home you visit. Please keep these with you for the duration of the Parade of Homes and use them at each home that you tour.
