Overview
On July 23, 1983, the Crying Child was chased by a group of psychotic teenagers, who had the intent of doing violent pranks on him. They placed him into the open jaw of the Fredbear animatronic, inadvertently activating the animatronic and causing it to bite the child's head off.
Outcome
In early 1984, the restaurant was closed due to the murder, and the teenagers were charged with third-degree murder. The teenagers were later arrested.
