The player who has pooped most recently starts the game as the Card Czar. The pick and play a black card by reading it aloud to all the other players. The black cards are fill-in-the-blank. Active players who are not the Card Czar choose a white card from their hand that they think best completes the phrase or sentence (s). These cards are passed to the Card Czar, face-down, for consideration. The Card Czar shuffles and reads the responses aloud to the group, whichever the Czar thinks is the funniest wins the black card. Who ever played the white card takes the black card and keeps it as their Awesome Point. After the round is finished, a new player becomes the Czar and the rules repeat. The creators of Cards Against Humanity started with a simple topic and written response game that later turned into premade cards. They then brought the first edition of the game to a New Year’s Eve Party to see if others would like it as well. That’s when they decided to put the game on Kickstarter.
