Fibre wads are made from a man-made fibrous material impregnated with a mix of bitumen and paraffin wax. Most are capped top and bottom with a thin paper cover. This helps prevent shot from becoming embedded in the fibre whilst under acceleration forces.

When was Kent Cartridge made?
In 1996 , in the wake of the banning of lead to hunt migratory birds in North America, a group of passionate sportsmen were inspired to develop a new line up of quality yet affordable, high performance, non-toxic hunting loads. It was from this shared vision that Kent Cartridge was born.

How is Bismuth shot produced?
This shot is produced in our facilities through a proprietary burnishing and rolling process which produces uniform, consistent shot yielding excellent patterns. Additionally, this proprietary process eliminates pellet fracture, a common issue with Bismuth shot produced through traditional processes.
