you can buy a cheap scanner that will put this light out,i have a mechanic working for me that stands on the roof ,tweeks the radio and has one foot on the brake whilst turning on the lights and he puts out nearly every service light you can think of but he wont show anyone least of all me,but if it its a 99 model iam sure you can put the light out by using a 12v electrical screwdriver with the light inside and a cable comes out the end with a clip .then going across the pins on the special BMW connector block it will go out with the resistance of the bulb across it ,but ??big but ?does it have an OBDII connector or the round BMW type because we dont have OBDII on pre 2005 cars here in spain .Now we do and guess what ??its all encrypted software used ...makes me a dinasaur.
