If they have a mix of hand tools made in taiwan and some in china most likely stanley is making them as they have big oem manufacturer facilities in both. The toolpro is stamped like a 2 year old did it and just normal lettering not the toolpro logo like before. itms writes... As someone that spent $2k on SP Tools about 2 months ago, I can't say I'm that impressed with a lot of it. The steel rule is 0.5 of a mm too long (tested against 5 others in the workshop) and the tape measure is cheap crap.

I've learnt to never use a ratcheting tool to do the initial loosening of anything. Sockets or ring spanners only.

When I spoke with one of the bigger sellers of SP Tools a few months ago they told me SP Tools sub-brand 888 Tools was made at the exact same factory and built to the exact same standard they just didn't have the branding.
Can you walk into Supercheap with a broken tool?
