Instagram has been really tanking my mental health

So I’m a fairly sizeable page on Instagram and I haven’t been getting my usual comments and likes like I used to a while back. I tried listening to the advice I’d give other artists like “they’re just numbers”, “content is all that matters” But even with that it’s hard to take any of that serious with other pages growing 7x in speed.

is it better for artists to use a 'nick name' or their real name? and does any of them actually make any difference?

im a new artist and i've seen a lot of artists who go by their nickname but i've always wondered whether it makes any difference/difficulty when they are hired by some company right from their sns or are asked to do freelance work because i think their payment account must have their real name? i mean, do they get questioned whether they're fake or not and etc? do you prefer to use a nick name?.

Back in mid November of 2020 I took a break from my art insta. I posted a few things here and there, but for the most part I was not as active as I used to be. It felt great. I have a main reddit account that I post my work to and started to focus more that account.
