Where is the Portland Metropolitan Workforce Training Center?
The Portland Metropolitan Workforce Training Center is located in northeast Portland and primarily houses Workforce Network, specializing in helping businesses meet human resources needs and job seekers with career development. The network includes Steps to Success, Dislocated Worker Program and the Metro One Stop, all providing a comprehensive array of employment and training. Instruction is available in Adult Basic Education, ESOL, job readiness preparation, job development, short-term training, internships, alcohol and drug/mental health assessment, and referral, and computer education.

Located on TriMet’s blue MAX line, the 100,000 square-foot Willow Creek Center serves as a one-stop for the unemployed and under-employed, and houses programs from the old Washington County Workforce Training Center and partner agencies. Its cornerstone is the acclaimed Washington County Workforce Development. Established in 1995, this department provides training and employment services for unemployed workers.
