What happens after Lyft takes a picture of you?
After they take a picture of your documents they will take a photo of you and your car. Make sure that you are comfortable with the photo that they take of you as it will be the photo that every passenger sees when they request a driver (Lyft will photoshop a green ivy background behind your face).
Why is Lyft better than other companies?
Many have said that Lyft has generally better drivers because the mentor program provides extra screening against drivers who may make passengers feel unsafe or uncomfortable.
How often do Lyft drivers get paid?
Lyft drivers get paid every Wednesday morning. The pay period begins Monday at 5AM and goes until the Monday of 4:59AM of the next week. All of your fares, earnings guarantees, fees, and tips are added up into a summary that you receive on a Tuesday evening in your email. Further, you will receive a daily summary of your rides every morning via e-mail.
Is Lyft a good company?
Every market has a different set of regulations to follow and Lyft is very good about informing you of what regulations you have to follow. Make sure to keep up to date with emails that you receive from them on what you need to do. Your mentor should also give you some insight on this subject too.
Does Lyft have a background check?
Lyft uses a company called Sterling BackCheck to conduct their background checks. After the mentor session you can check the status of your background check through Sterling’s website or by contacting their customer service line (1-800-899-2272). Once they’ve processed your information, you can also request a copy of your background check.
Can you use Lyft Plus with seven seats?
If you have a vehicle with seven or more seats (and seat-belts) your vehicle will qualify to receive Lyft Plus calls. Lyft Plus calls have the unique ability to transport six or more passengers for 1.5x the normal rate of a regular Lyft.
Can you slap a mustache on a taxi?
Further, the vehicle must meet all requirements listed above. If you drive or own a cab, you can’t just slap a mustache on your cab and start taking calls.
