Is Filson and Beyond a good store?
Excellent store--top quality stuff. They've done a great job with their brand choices. Not fancy or flashy, but understated, high end stuff. Filson and beyond. I see a couple other reviewers commented about the high prices. For the brands they carry, the prices are fine. High quality stuff doesn't come cheap--this isn't J. Crew, etc. John and the other folks that work there are very friendly and helpful. Visiting the store is always one of the highlights of our annual trip to Portland.
Is Portland Dry Goods a good place to shop?
Portland Dry Goods is full of fantastic clothes and accessories, and an extraordinarily accommodating staff. I bought a beautiful pair of sunglasses there while on a road trip, was super excited about them, got home and realized they had a manufacturing defect. PDG staff asked no questions, simply told me send them back and they'd overnight a new pair. I'll definitely be dropping by any time I'm in Portland. Great folks.
Is PDG a good outlet?
