JoostinOnline

Restart your computer and see if it goes away. If not, delete all the partitions in Disk Management and format it as a new drive.

Dujith

Is there a reason why there are so many partitions on it? That does not happen out of nowhere.

Guest

The individual partitions need to be deleted before the format though.

Droidbot

It's odd though for a USB flash drive to have partitions though. I am reading on it and getting mixed results on that matters. It's normal for external drives (hdd/ssd) but not flash drives

I just noticed it now,

but it could have been there a long time. My laptop came with XP Media Center but I wiped it and put on XP Pro. I don’t remember if it was doing this in Media Center or not. I currently have no flash drive plugged in, so I’m not sure why it skips E:, but I don’t know why that matters.

I think I found something

I installed Daemon Tools a long time ago and made and image drive, which appears to be the F: that keeps showing up.

Got it

I was able to get rid of the F: drive. It turned out to be virtual drive I forgot about making. Thanks for your advice there.

I did

update atunes (always do as soon as it comes out, it’s a great program!) and I just reinstalled it again to make sure, nothing’s changed. The drive won’t even spin, it just waits and times out and it says “No CD found”.
