I have white spots, just like little pieces of cotton on my Hoya vine. Would this be mites or spiders of some kind? I rubbed these spots and looked with a magnifying glass and didn't see anything come out of the spots but it was sticky. I also have them on my African violet plant, only on that plant it looks like it has snowed on the top of it.
