Actually the scratches will be more noticable if you tint the glass. Only real way to eliminate the scratches is to replace the windows with brand new glass and put in new window felt, but it will cost you. Know its not exactly what you wanted to hear.

if the scrach isnt too big, then you can use steel wool, its what i used on all my windows that had scratch's on it and it cleared them up..heres a link from the tricks and tip topic, if it helps...
